I have 2 Vincent Bach #1's and one looks like someone drilled it out. Shouldn't they have the same size hole? Thanks

It may be the lighting or shadowing, but it looks like one is a 27 hole and the other looks HUGE maybe a 14 or 15?
If you’re not near a repair tech, and you have some drill bits, you can drop them in to see what size drill they used to open the one on the left up.
Unless somebody ordered the piece from Bach with an open hole, they should be the same. And since the plating is gone on the larger hole it’s a safe bet that was aftermarket work. |

Thanks. It does look like someone drilled it. There are scratch marks inside the cup from something. |

Yes, the straightness of the throat and that rather sharp edge at the beginning of the throat make it pretty clear that someone butchered that mouthpiece with an ordinary drill bit. Also, that green corrosion is due to a lack of silver plating in the bored out area which was just left as bare brass.
I have a feeling that mouthpiece makes a good paper weight and that's about all. |

That's kind of what I figured. Thanks |

It's a Bach mouthpiece, so probably out of tune and with a lousy rim. |
