This is excellent --

I have to say I could not get through the Sarah Willis interview w Arturo -- her approach to interviewing is too unfocused.
Michael Lewis does a great job in every one of his I've seen -- he lets the subjects talk.
Great line from this one: "Only two trumpeters scared Freddie Hubbard -- Booker Little and Woody Shaw. Can you imagine Freddie Hubbard being scared of anyone?"
Lots of great stuff throughout this one. |

I enjoy Sarah's interviews, I think they're a lot of fun. It's more like just sitting in someone's home B.S.ing and who is enthusiastic about their subject.
Nevertheless, thanks for posting this interview. It's very interesting. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

'Agree with the above. Thanks for posting very much.
But I too think Sarah does a fine job on interviews. (She's also a lot easier on the eyes than Mr. Davis.) _________________ For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle? - 1 Cor 14:8 |

Was it Sarah who got distracted or was it Mr. Sandoval...?
Either way, thanks for the share. This is a great interview. _________________ Kevin |

You're welcome.
I know what you're saying Keheluani re Sarah's style. I consider myself a fan, generally, and have watched most, if not all of her interviews.
And right, Arturo also ran with the looseness, I'd say
BTW, she will be interviewing Thomas Gansch sometime this year, which I am looking forward to. |

Very nice interview.
Michael Davis, Hip-Bone Music, always does a great interview.
If you have not checked out his site, I can recommend it.
