Just wondering does anybody do this warmup and/or intervals on different keyed trumpets? For example C,D,Eb etc.

Carmine often expressed the thought that if you wanted to be equally adept on all of your doubles you should do all of your calisthenics on each of the instruments you play...Bb, flugel, cornet, C, picc, etc.

I'm not sure I agree, but that was his thinking.

I like to spend time on all my different keyed trumpets but not ready to experiment with Caruso on the piccolo yet. Bb trumpet and cornet feels the most comfortable.

As I've stated before, during the time I was doing a fair amount of orchestral work along with a majority of commercial playing, Carmine advised the six notes, interval, and harmonics on Bb and the <> and >< each on a different pitched horn
