| About the Voisin story...what I heard was this: That Voisin was fooling around with somebody else's part, and Bartok was there, liked how it sounded, and wrote it into the score. Voisin must have liked how it sounded and perhaps thought it would sound better on trumpet. Bartok must have concurred. It wasn't accidental. |

| Now that Pittsburgh's new Principal Trumpet is a Yamaha guy, (or at least he was in San Diego), does that mean the rest of the section will switch to Yamaha? |
