| I have a Besson New creation trumpet serial number 121 734, it is gold lacquer and the closes photo of it I have seen is from the USA Carl Fischer of NY but this one that dates from 1920 has the change key, valve on the slide mine does not. I have looked on a number of sites and there seems to be a block of serial numbers missing from 1922 till 1930. My serial number fulls in this missing block. Does anyone have any idea why the numbers are missing was it due to the depression? |
