Don....First of all, thank you so much for your inquiry concerning my health.
I will say that after being released from the hospital back in March, the doctors have urged me to schedule an outpatient gallbladder surgery, but I have not done so thus far. Making major changes to my diet and controlling what I eat has made a real difference so far, (no jinxes) but I will most likely be inclined to get it out....laproscopically...if still an option. I do NOT eat fattening foods, fried foods, food high in cholesterol, junk food, etc....and I've been consuming a lot more fresh fruits and vegetables. Also , a lot of grains and plenty of healthier cereal helps too. I use skim milk or 2% milk and I'll water down whole milk. Diet is so important. I'd like to get another MRI scan first to see if there is any improvement with my gallstones and sludge.
Oh yeah, I have to have some major dental work as well....but here where I am from it's gonna take some big bucks. I may opt to go to a university dental school....as they do great work for half the cost.
Okay, I hope all of you loyal ITP followers are doing well...and remember...ignoring can be okay at times...but do NOT ignore your friends, family, pets, or health.
Now, please continue to..........(all together now) " ignore this post".
See ya soon.........

My wife had laparoscopic gall bladder surgery and it went well. Still took a bit of time to recover, but if the gall bladder is filled with stones it seemed the best thing to do.
She weened me off whole milk (dairy boy married an R.D., go figure) years ago and now I am drinking 1%. Still don;t like skim, especially on cereal, but now 2% tastes "whole" and whole seems too thick.

Don, you can buy whole milk and simply mix it with water....and it's pretty much the same as low fat milk. Plus, you can make a gallon go much further...probably getting almost two gallons. _________________ MARK /aka "musicmork"/ aka " The Creator "

Hmmm... That's a thought, might have to pick up an extra milk bottle (we use a delivery service).
Aside worth ignoring: I have a picture of my grandfather as a boy standing with his dad beside their milk delivery wagon. Mule-drawn, and the length of their route was partly dictated by how far they could get before the ice melted and the milk got too warm. As a kid, I used to help (hand) milk a couple of cows when I spent time on the farm in the summer, and we skimmed the cream off to use on our breakfast cereal. Awesomely tasty but I can hear my arteries hardening now... A few years later working on a dairy farm made me the engineer I am today. Every day 3 am to 7 am, wash up and get to school on weekdays, then 3 pm to 7 or 9 pm at night sending ~300 cows through the milking machine and cleaning up after. _________________ "After silence, that which best expresses the inexpressible, is music" - Aldous Huxley |

I think I've ignored this post (an all other TH posts) for 2 or 5 years now. Funny how work can do that to a fellow. Funny how getting conscripted to a German band for Oktoberfest season can drive a bloke back to the arms of TH. _________________ "Stomvi" PhrankenPhlugel w/ Blessing copper bell

We'e had several snowy days recently, interspersed with red flag warnings and a number of fires caused by cigarettes, dragging mufflers, etc. - the usual idiots.
I'm currently not ignoring the six coworkers, family members, and friends that have passed within the last three weeks... Immediately followed by an increase in workload and layoffs, great... _________________ "After silence, that which best expresses the inexpressible, is music" - Aldous Huxley |
