Hey! Anyone has any information on this horn? I can't find much information about it online. How does it play? Is this one of Yamaha's earliest professional cornets? What I do know is that it is a long model cornet, yet it comes with a shepherd's crook. It also has an M sized boreThat's about everything I know.

Will appreciate your inputs, especially if you have played on one before.

Thanks!

Hello all,
It probably is a decent little cornet. I would imagine that it would be fine for quintet playing, or just having a cornet around as a secondary instrument if you were starting up a in a brass band...In the states. You would then find the limitations (or not) of the smaller bore in relation to volume and timbre. But a good cornet mouthpiece would probably fix that. In great shape, I can't think it would go for over $650...Just because of age and that it is a long model cornet.
