No.
It's not worth it.
But not for the sound change.
Cornets play differently from trumpets.
It's not a huge difference, but it is a significant difference.
If you want to perform on a cornet, buy a cornet and learn how to play it. |

I'm not familiar with the Rimmer version mentioned above. Since he died in the 1930s, I suspect it could well be in the public domain by now.
It's currently available commercially, but so is a ton of sheet music that's actually public domain. Anyone know for sure about this one? _________________ "Music is like candy, you throw the (w)rappers away." |
