Search using Google or whatever to limit to TH and you'll find many, many threads and a number of drum corp fans current and past. I participated only briefly, working my way through high school kept me from fully participating, but it was a blast.

I enjoyed marching band more than concert band. My son participated in drum Corp with the Santa Clara Vanguard.

But beware, there are some vociferous opponents to matching bands of any type on this forum.

Wow! what year(s) did your son march? SCV is probably one of my favorite corps to date. particularly '89 and '00 come to mind as some fantsastic shows but even since the transition to Bb horns instead of the then standard marching soprano bugles has been absolutley fantastic.

I continue to do a decent amount of drum corps, marching and teaching in different DCA corps!
