The core lick in the head of Freddie Hubbard's "Blues for Miles" sounds familiar, but I can't place it. From another Hubbard tune? Hope someone recognizes it and can help. Thanks.

Thanks. I'm most familiar with the later Blue Mitchell version. But I was thinking it was somewhere on Hubbard's High Energy. And I wasn't finding it -- 'til I listened to all of Baraka Sasa. It's not the head: It's used as sort of a shout chorus (listen starting 8:25). Solved.
