Eflat Trumpet 4MC with 9* BB
Piccolo 5M with 10* (Trumpet shank

I use a 6SV/H and a 6M/NY right now for Bb
I use a bunch of different mouthpieces for the other horns.
Flugel- a Giardinelli 12FL
Cornet- a Warburton 6M/6 and a Stork custom made for me years ago
C Trumpet- whatever works
Piccolo- I rarely play it so whatever I’m using on my Bb at the time.
A Bach 18C on a marching euphonium

4MD top with 5 bottom (Bb trumpet)
4M top with shortened 6 bottom (picc and Eb/D)
4XD with 6 bottom (Bb cornet, shepherd's crook style)

All tops are the "anchor-grip" type. I like the comfort of the delrin and rubber tops better than the metal.

I have a 3MV with an 8 backbore that I like. Sometimes I decide to try and sell it, but usually end up pulling the ad and deciding to keep it. It has a really nice, big sound with brilliance, without being "bright".

I've tried a few other tops and backbores in the past, but I like this better than any other Warburton set I've tried.

I sometimes think I'd like to try this top on a NY backbore.

4MV is a size I'm interested in trying. My existing tops are already comfortable, and Warburton tops have become expensive in recent years, so I've just kept using what I already have. No Warburton dealers in the Sacramento area I'm aware of for just trying.

Bb trumpet - 4M/7* for jazz
4SV/8 for lead (rarely play lead anymore)
4MD/7* for classical and sometimes for jazz

Cornet - 4D/10

Flugel - 4FL

I also have an 11 backbore that I used with the 4D when I had a C trumpet. Occasionally will use it on Bb with the 4MD top when I really want to honk in the low and middle registers.

I used a 4MC/4* in the past for jazz playing, but gave it to my son who uses it for everything except lead. You'd think that backbore would be tight, and on a medium large bore like my Bach, it is, but on the .470 bore Claude Gordon Selmer (which I used to play but have given to my son) it balances very nicely.

9M/NY - all-round
7ESV/1 - commercial
8S/Schmidt (bach bb, threaded) - high picc

Right now, it's a Ft. Lauderdale 8S top on a KT Backbore that I bought new in 1987.

2MC (25) with 10 (25) All trumpets except picc. Pretty darn versatile mouthpiece.
3FL for flugel
3sv top with 10* backbore for picc (I think)
