I’m pretty excited about trying this tip, which Kenny demoed in Part Two of his four part You Tube series on warm up and practice.

That little bit at the end about fluttering and running hot water on the chops can be a real lifesaver if you've had a particularly grueling week of gigs.
I can tell you that the experience for road warriors and 12-gig-a-week metro players is a little different than those of use who of faded into weekend warriors.
Wilmer Wise (RIP), who used to spend some time here and on rec.music.makers.trumpet used to say that he didn't really have to warm up at all in the morning.
That commitment to regular practice and fundamentals isn't just lip service...! _________________ Jeff Helgesen
