I see a Phaeton trumpet I could potentially buy sub $1000. It has a reverse leadpipe, heavy bracing, and a sterling silver leadpipe. And is almost brand new. Does anyone know anything about Phaeton. I've been looking at reviews and read they play like an intermediate horn. I'm looking for a professional trumpet that'll last. Could this be the one?[/code] |

I’m FAIRLY sure they are made in the same factory as Carol Brass. I’ve owned a few of those, I think they are a really good value, and they do play well. Depending on your definition of “well.”
