Sarah Vaughan said that when she heard Aretha's treatment of "Skylark" she vowed never to sing it again because she felt she could never do it as well.

Very fond of Aretha Franklin. She will be missed. We recorded this MLB promo in Anita Baker's studio in Detroit. Fun to play.

The original Blues Brothers movie preceded by a handful or more of Aretha videos, including this one.
