I created a web page for my 5tet arrangement of Suite Populaire Brésilienne by Heitor Villa-Lobos. This suite of charming solo guitar pieces can be downloaded here:

Included on the page are MP3s of the original for solo guitar and MIDI realizations of the brass 5tet version.

I moved the page that houses my Villa-Lobos 5tet arrangement a while back. The arrangement, along with audio files (a MIDI/MP3 realization of the score AND a recording of the original for guitar) are found here:

Having never played this arrangement I would love to hear from those who have. It's not easy, but doable I think.

As previously mentioned, I never got to read this Villa-Lobos transcription, I had retired and quit playing before I did the arrangement.

I also did this arrangement of "Shoutin' Liza" for brass quintet that I never played:

http://www.wwjdo.com/_sites/sheetmusic/liza/liza.html

And arrangements,of several Raymond Scott tunes:

http://www.wwjdo.com/_sites/sheetmusic/scott/

Most of these Scott tunes were also unread.

I am really interested in finding out if anyone has played through these pieces. If you have, please get back to me and tell me of your experiences (both positive and negative) with them.

Thanks!
