Anyone know where I can buy a set of bottom valve springs for a Jupiter flugelhorn?
Thanks

The bottom sprung valves in the Couesnon flugel I just picked up are vibrating after the valves are struck; like a G below middle C. It's not audible, but it's noticeable in the hand. Is this cause for concern? It doesn't seem to affect the valve action or tone, but I haven't really checked it out on a recording yet. Any ideas on how to dampen the spring vibration without affecting the valve action? |
