I was just wondering if anyone knew of any Bill Adam Students in New York City? Iām over from the UK and would love to have a lesson if there are any in the area. |

Evan Barker, James De La Garza, Eric Siereveld, and Jeremy Miloszewicz come to mind first. _________________ Bach trumpet artist-clinician

Does Charley take new students? I studied with a friend of his Walt Blanton for several years.

Give him a call. You can get his phone number thru Local 47 AFM.
Hint - If you start studying with him on a regular basis, never show up to a lesson without having practiced & prepared for it.
I started lessons with him 30 years ago this past January, and was taking lessons every 2 weeks. I lived in Riverside at that time, and it was about a 90-minute drive from there to his home in N. Hollywood.
About 4 months into our lessons, because of work (school shows & such) I had not taken a lesson for about 5 weeks. Because I was working on other music (for the other work), I had not put the time into his assignments like I should have.
So I called him & we set a day & time.
Showed up, we got to playing and after maybe 10 minutes (if even that) he says "We're done. Don't come back unless you've spent time on what I assign. That'll be $35 (what he charged me 30 years ago)."
Charley is an amazing teacher who will give you his all, as long as you hold up your end of the bargain. _________________ Tim Wendt

I notice this thread starts with the same question I have, but from 2005.
Who are the Adam students currently teaching in New York City or nearby? |
