Is there anything that makes the Bach 181 cornet different than the 180 trumpet besides the leadpipe wrap?

Like is the bell bent with a larger radius crook or something like that? Or is the bell cut differently?

Sorry, I was just feeling goofy. I know the Bach cornet leadpipes are quite long compared to the trumpet pipes. They start from a much smaller venturi and proceed to widen over a longer distance before reaching the main tuning slide. I believe this may be key in the cornet's flexibility. I also think their bells are a bit shorter overall to compensate for the longer pipe.

I used to have a 184, and just looking at it, the bell was much shorter than either my Bb or C trumpet.

Have you seen this from Dave Miller where he converts a Bach cornet to a trumpet?
