Basically we are being timed out of being logged in on the TH website if we take too long to write and then post. I don't think this is on our end. I'm using a computer with Windows 7 Professional and Firefox for what it's worth. Next time I post I'll switch over to Chrome and then IE to see if it happens with those as well and will report back whether it does nor doesn't. |

Same thing here, I’ve started typing my comments elsewhere (like Notes for Ipad), then copying and pasting them. We’ll see if it happens now, I am logged in.....

Too frustrating. It has been months. I have tried different computers, servers, browsers, platforms, hints from this board, etc., to keep logged in as I browse the board. Life is too short to have to log into every single thread I want to view or post. I'm done. Send me a message when it is fixed. In the meantime, it has been nice knowing everyone. _________________ King Super 20 Trumpet; Sov 921 Cornet

Mine started working correctly again a day or two ago. _________________ "Brass bands are all very well in their place - outdoors and several miles away ." - Sir Thomas Beecham |

Working correctly again for me as well, but not being a naturally trusting soul, I now copy everything before hitting the go button. Time and frustration saver!

It seems like this has also cleared up for me. Thank you for the change/fix. |

Happened once (4 paragraphs!), but I haven't been frequenting TH much this last year. Definitely an issue at the server end. _________________ veery715

I've made some recent adjustments.
Has the problem abated? I personally have not had this happen, so I'm at a loss to determine the cause for certain and have made (educated) guesses.
Thanks and let me know.

After a string of timeouts last month, no problems for a while.

It's been working great for me lately. Whatever you did solved the problem for me. _________________ "Brass bands are all very well in their place - outdoors and several miles away ." - Sir Thomas Beecham |
