Visited my local dealer the other day and discovered a trumpet on display, a silver Calicchio. Looked just fine, had a big sound. More core than the Bach Commercial I recently sold. Price as the pro Yamahas. Ranking how amongst the classy ones?
Anyone who has knowledge of this brand/can tell me something (just anything ) about quality, applicability to different types of music.

Thanks! Interesting story. Kinda melancholic.
I have to admit that my memory failed! It was not a Callicchio but a Cannonball. Sorry I made you post, well not in vain, the Callichios seem to be fine instruments so I´ll put them on my list. _________________ Cornets: mp 143D3/ DW Ultra 1,5 C
