The Curry XS is a VERY shallow cup but the Curry #5 rim series has a bit deeer cup(s) han other Curry rims. If you like the #5 rim the best thing to do is ask Mark Curry directly for a custom 5XS with a shallower cup. You can also try other curry XS cups in various rims and see if they are shallow enough for you. _________________ ------------------------

I think a lot of the Legends Brass mouthpieces are extremely shallow, with various rim profiles. Might be worth a shot. _________________ Ska/Reggae - The Selectones
