Hi everyone,

lately I have been ' aware ' of some issues that could be adressed with the process of finding the ' sweet spot ' .

the way I ' discovered ' that was trying to make the ' reversible rim (tm) ' and the ' X'piece (tm) ' work for me.

I have great difficulties with making notes with the rim and having an acceptable tone with the Xpiece.
So I decided it was time to experiment and find ' my way ' of making them work.

Part of the process was accepting to place the rims out of my ' normal ' way of playing. I found that I have to slip lightly left of my usual spot to make the pieces work ' better '.
Main issues are vertical placement and ' tightness ' of the chops.

What kind of ' protocol ' would you advise to get to the right spot ?

I'll keep updating my progress

Thanks

JiCe

Do you get better results in the new location when you play a middle of the road mouthpiece?
