Hi, everybody, it's possible this should go in the community forum.

The great NYC trumpet player (and TH member) Kevin Bryan has taken ill suddenly, and it's very serious. I'm setting up the link for his gofundme.com page, I'm sure his family would appreciate any donations...

Thank you

Yes, I just donated. I have known Kevin for over 30 years. We used to do gigs together in the Amherst, Ma area. He is a great guy. I hope he can pull through.

I've never met him, but donated a little something - from one trumpet player to another. Wishing him and his family the best.

His wife just released the message that Kevin passed from pancreatic cancer. I played many times with him and not only was he one of the best trumpet players I ever heard but he was also the greatest guy you ever wanted to sit next to you on a gig. He has left behind his wife and three children. Whatever you can donate to help his family I am sure would be appreciated.

He was a force in the lead trumpet chair, and will be missed.
