I'm playing in a pit for Dreamgirls at a local school in a week-ish. Anybody played this book before? What should I expect range/equipment/mute wise?
Any advice would be great - thanks! |

I & II together, III separate
Bb & flugel on all three.
Straight & Harmon only.
Lots of Es (many unison w/2nd), Ebs & Ds
LOTS of music. This isn’t an opera, but there are only a few short "dialogue only" sections.
Hand-written copy. For the most part it’s very clear. |
Really helpful info - exactly what I was looking for, thank you! |
