Any recommendations for some fun, lively Christmas music? Either individual, or ensemble, I'm just looking to start working on some different material.

Links, free stuff, or books, open to whatever... thanks in advance.

My pianist and I use the "Real Christmas Book" as a quick and easy source for jazz holiday tunes. Many will need a little tweaking but it's a great quick and dirty resource to start your holiday jazz combo arrangements with.

ETA: Check out Hal Leonard Vol. 66 - A Charlie Brown Christmas for combo arrangements of the Peanuts tunes as well. Those are always a hit.

Ditto on The Real Christmas Book.

Someone mentioned Hal Leonard for play-alongs. In addition, there's Aebersold's volumes 78 and 125.

I second that thanks - I was going to get on this morning and ask for some trumpet ensemble recommendations, but this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Jay!

Just to reiterate, these Xmas Brass Quintets and Trumpet Quartets are still available for download and are 100% free.
