Hi Everyone.......I am Chris’s wife and normally I wouldn’t do this, but I need Chris’s friends to read a story that was posted for him on Gofundme. When you go to the website, click on the magnifying glass and type in: Helping a gifted musician. I appreciate you all keeping him alive in his “Trumpet World.”

Here's the link, folks! https://uk.gofundme.com/helping-a-gifted-musician

I clicked the title quickly, as anything regarding trumpets and Chris catch my attention; he is a treasure of knowledge, and I love learning and reading his anecdotes. I also value greatly the time he spent with me, and am shocked to read your bad news. I wish Chris a complete and speedy recovery, and sincerely hope your family finds some greener pastures in 2019.

Kindly and sincerely yours,

Michael Barkley (the one in Ireland, not the USA!!)

Chris is a great player, a great teacher, and a great historian of jazz. One of the very best in the business.

The lessons I've had from him have helped me beyond measure.

Helping him and his family out is a VERY worthy cause!!

Get well soon, Chris!!

Please consider helping a fellow trumpet player.

Chris once helped me with my playing and he was very generous with his time
