Hello all,

I also tried to join the trumpetmaster forum but their site always responds that is is busy loading the Captcha but it never does.
It is also impossible to contact the admin there (same issue).
Perhaps someone here is already a member and can let the admin over there know that it has not been working for some time?

Best regards
Bernt

Others have been having similar issues for quite a while. I sent a private message to the site owner. I'll let you know if he has any suggestions.

Remarkable that there is NO contact method to alert operators or admins from outside on most forums to report this type of issue.

You could try contacting Captcha to see if they will look into it.

As long as someone who is already member there can keep telling the admin, The surely (hopefully) they will fix it. Or not.

They should get rid of the captcha in the admin contact for a start.

Hello shifty,

I guess you heard nothing more since sending message to the editor there?

Last I tried nothing had changed... I'm getting pretty comfy at TH though!

You can still 'search' the site without being signed up but the real bummer will be when the guy posts an add in the 'for sale' section... "Monette Trumpet, like new $350.00"! ...and you can't contact him!!

I've gotten no response; others have tried to contact him through the messaging system and he hasn't responded. Today a plea went out for anyone who knows him personally to try and make contact.

The site is down for all and the mods I have contact with have no ability to fix it. It is up to MJ whoever MJ is. MJ was last seen in January. Will it get fixed? New potential members have not been able to sign up for 10+ months. It doesn't sound like a healthy situation and TM shares it's IP with 3 other sites. IT is not my thing so I don't get the shared IP thing but those sites all work fine. I will get used to TH but I do miss the like button. Oh well, back to "+1" and upping my post count!!! LOL

From a personal perspective, it would be a tragedy to lose TM. The depth of knowledge shown and opinions expressed, on both TM and TH,has been of enormous personal benefit, and yes, I have even found a new friend!
Should TM disappear we will all be much the poorer.
Still, someone should be held accountable.
