Mouthpiece Express sells trumpet parts:
https://mouthpieceexpress.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=510_983_1237&osCsid=5r7h4u6igp59k7ol46f09re0d1

You might also be able to buy directly from Yamaha at this site:
https://www.yamaha24x7.com/#/parts

Hope that helps and let us know what you find!

Any Yamaha dealer should be able to get the assembly for you.

Is this worth the upgrade for a gen 1 Chicago c trumpet?

They are basically different designs so.. I am not sure if it's an upgrade. A lot of people prefer how the gen 1 plays

These horns are designed as a system. If you want gen II performance, sell the gen I and buy a gen II. Putting a leadpipe on a horn not designed to optimally respond with it just wrecks a very good horn.
