I am looking on Amazon for a reasonably priced clip on trumpet mic. but so many, I'm getting stuck.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

You might need to define "reasonably priced".

I use a Shure SM11. Although it's not commonly used as an instrument mic, it has served me well.

More popular choices would be the Shure PGA98H and Audio-Technica PRO 35, which both sell for a little more that $100, and the and Shure Beta 98H, which sells for about $200.
