Hello,

I have a 1952 Conn 28B that is need of new valve springs. Does anyone know if valve springs from any other Conn model work on these. I see a lot of replacement/tune-up kits for later model Conns, but I don't want to buy them if they aren't going to work.

Thanks

If you find any let us know, I have been searching for a long time but no luck.
Later models don’t fit.

Conn-Selmer has parts available to the public. Google parts.conn-selmer.com for info.

good luck
the diameter has to exactly right or they touch either the guides or the inner barrel. Almost no room unless exactly right. New old stock would be rare cuz these were only made for about three years 55,56,57,58 ish

Ferrees has a range of springs and somehow one of them has managed to work every time I needed an odd spring size. Don't pay attention to what they are called just look at the size in the picture.

I had some that were a bit too small / big and you can wrap around a big / small dowel respectively to stretch / shrink the diameter a bit.

If it's the valve spring system that has the spring inside an open framework, that is a problem to find as they are a unique size.

Let us know if you find a source, please.
