Hey folks, the best mp's ive ever tried and own 12 of , and ive tried em all, are the Legends Brass by Derek Saidak in TN. On ebay also. most comfy too and now makes a remake of the MF FBL, the one he had made in the UK and i own an original TD model, shaped like a a french horn cup, funnel. The TS model meaning shallow is still about a C depth but its double C on demand. If you strain for that at times you wont with these mouthieces.

I don't need a high range mouthpiece. I taped a photo of Maynard on the bell of my horn. It now plays double C all by itself! This method has been a secret for years. Try it. You won't be disappointed!

Double C on demand, cool. I’ll take two. Make that 12.

By the way, please disregard my inquiry on the horn you have for sale, thank you.

Here is how to start an oboe player on trumpet.

Take an oboe double reed and, by using some duct tape, mount the reed on the trumpet lead pipe.

Result: high C and up on demand

Have you tried this?

Hold up. You're only hitting a double C on demand? Pfft! I just use an air compressor taped to the trumpet to achieve a Triple G at least.

If a picture taped on the bell did it I would have wrapped a whole photo album on their years ago, LOL. I have been considering calling the televangelist that will send me that miracle spring water, but at 68 I think the double C days are over.....................
