Hello, I am sorry, but I (nor seemingly anyone) do not who is the owner of trumpetmaster, so I am sending out this broadcast message. If you still have your data backups, I would love to have them and archive the data so that it is still accessible. There is some useful stuff going back two decades. Thanks.

Isn't rowuk a moderator and doesn't he have an account here?
I read it here but cannot verify if that's fact or just hearsay. Might be a lead.

Several months ago it was down for like a week. I think we are pushing 3 weeks now. Doesn't look good.

The hierarchy at TM as I know it was MJ-Administrator, does he own it?? Anthony- Administrator I think but was told not to mess with him! Rowuk, Vulgano Brother, and Solar Bell were the only moderators left after several others I vaguely remember (SCHWAB ?) quit. Zoom info says that Trumpetmaster.com has 24 employees and grosses 4.8 million annually. The PO Box is in the US Penitentiary in Atlanta, Ga.!!! My guess is to find MJ. I've asked mods at TM and they do not know who owns it.

Just out of curiosity I wonder if any of the early moderators from TM know how to contact the owner of TM. People like TrickG, dbacon and Tom Turner.

I presume they all are aware of this thread and either don’t know or have their reasons to not share.

I also wonder why the owner stays in the shadows. Not that I deserve to know...

Tom Turner left before I joined in 2009, dbacon I know not, and TrickG would come and go. It could be they had their fill and are like, "Meh"! I'm making an assumption based on TrickG only, we got along great and I always enjoyed his posts. He also has teenagers! Nuff said I think. If the owner passed away (?) and the bills don't get paid... , we may never know.

Essentially, people want to know if TM is gone forever or is planning on coming back on line. I don’t see why this would be something that the owner or moderators (if they know) would mind sharing. If TM plans on returning, it would have been nice if they had posted a notice that they were planning on going down but would return. What is frustrating is no information. We appreciate whoever owns it and the service it was providing. Would just be nice for some information to be shared.

It looks like the bill didnt get paid. Site is hosted on Digital Ocean and the ip is now showing up as un allocated. Or so it appears.

It's all rather murky. Who knows if this information is correct? The pageview chart shows it falling off the cliff so to speak. Will we ever know?

I know. The section showing TM is online and green is wrong. This would also refute it was checked today.

Seriously doubt it! And I'm fairly confident Gottfried is not the owner, he just dislikes Rowuk. Which if he did, he would just get rid of him. Owners fire "bad" employees, not shut down their business. I'll say more later. Gottfried isn't his real name either.

Yep!! So just because it's true, doesn't mean it's true.

Gottfried Reiche was a trumpet player from the 1700s. This Gottried could be a distant relative, or just really old. [/img]

HAHA Yeah, when I saw that I thought, "What a coincidence"!! Apparently Rowuk was "hated" more than I realized. I didn't always agree, but the vitriol slung his way by some is over the top.
