Mother Nature provided a little visual artistry that I noticed while attempting to "rest as much as I play" this morning.

Lovely photo, Jeff. Pooch looks like he's awaiting you to begin playing. _________________ 1972 Selmer Radial |

Great hearing from you, my friend.
His hearing is starting to go as his age advances, so he is much more tolerant of my playing now. He used to like to whine/sing along much more than he does now.
He may have been a bit upset that I was in "his" sunbeam. _________________ Kanstul F Besson International 800 Bb

My playing partner is a black lab named Molly. At age 12 she won't be denied the opportunity to be in the studio singing along when I play. If she wasn't so close to the pitch creating a such a dissonance.....

Reminds me of a time when I would practice with my parents' goldendoodle by my side. At first, she was not happy and would bark incessantly. However, she quickly learned to calm down and seemed to even find my playing somewhat relaxing. _________________ Please join me as well at:
