Does anyone know about ScanScore? Is it worth the money? I just received a $20 voucher for it, but I don't know if it's a good deal. The product demo looks nice and it seems to do the job. But in the demo you can't export, so I don't know if it would work with things like musescore. https://scan-score.com/en/ |

FYI in case it's helpful for anyone - I went ahead and tried it. Turns out that you can export to XML. As a bonus, you can edit the score before exporting in order to fix any mistakes. |

Hello,
thanks for posting but I think would have been better to post in the "Other toys" forum.
That said, if you are interested, I posted my own experience with Photoscore in the "Finale or Sibelius" thread.
I am interested in that kind of soft because I frequently need to transpose a lot of things and among a lot of failures, it sometime "saved my life"!
I have heard about Scanscore and wonder if it is better than Photoscore (at least it is cheaper!)
If you are interested, could we make a comparative test: I send to you a few parts to scan where Photoscore sucked and we compare the results?
Regards.
PS: Moderator, do you think interesting to move this thread to "Other toys"? |
