What options do i have for a lyre on a pro horn that is not set up for one?

I can't tell from the picture how or where that is supposed to clamp.

Secondary point: Maybe don't use a pro horn for a gig that needs a lyre.

The bottom round part that looks solid is actually a ring clamp tightened by the two thumb screws. It is a very bad photoshop trim job. This is a better picture.

The stem of the lyre isn't long enough to clamp it anywhere but the leadpipe.

I have one of these that I used way back when. Worked fine, never slipped. I used masking tape to help prevent scratching.

My son used one for marching band. Unfortunately neither of us thought of using tape. Which was especially annoying to me when I found out he was using my new Strad not the 40 year old one he meant to use.
