| I have a Jerome Callett book entitled Brass Power and Endurance copyright 1974. Does anyone know if the concepts in this book are the same as TCE? Also, can a person learn the TCE on their own or is a teacher needed? I don't think there are very many trumpet players in my area (SW Kansas) who have ever heard of Jerome Callet. |

I am a friend of the Callet family and an also working with Jerome's wife Yumiko. We have never heard of this book, and its not included in his bibliography, although we would like to. Could you please post or DM me some photos of it, including the front cover, beginning pages (intro/table of contents, etc). I did not know he published a book between Trumpet Yoga (1971) and Superchops (1987).

Yes - his wikipedia page is where his wife saw it and asked me about it - she also asked me to update his wikipedia page w/ more details...I saw those listings on Google and Amazon as well, but no info/photos, and we are all very curious now !

Brass Power and Endurance is published by Harold Branch
It´s contains 92 sides of drawings and exercises.Also a lot of text!Published in 1974.
There´s also a "Twenty First Century Trumpet Technique" by Jerry.Also published by Harold Branch.Lots of text and exercises.Book contains about 50 sides.Probably published later than Brass Power...
