Hello TH
I have been retooling my shop for the last 6 weeks and am essentially up and running. I decided to concentrate on Custom Work because that is where 90 percent of my work ended up. I have a new machine with tool memory and other things to speed things up, especially making blanks and backbores, and threading parts etc. Additional backbore reamers, new cutting tools etc.
I have kept quite busy in my little niche of doing custom work for great players and comebackers etc looking for advice or making a change. Maybe a slight change, or combininig parameters of several mouthpieces. Stuff like that.
I still have certain models "already made" but not as many as i used to....live and learn.
check out the new website (if its still the old website let me know please, some browsers seem to still show the old site)

I'm really happy with the custom mouthpieces that you made!
Do you make custom cornet mouthpieces too?
Thanks a lot! _________________ Robson Adabo de Mello

Good to hear & congrats on the reboot!
I'll be hitting you up soon for your jazz cup (just need to decide on .645 or .655) and your #4 backbore.
Doug makes GREAT stuff for sure. |

Doug did some sleeve cutting and rim copying for me. Excellent work and exactly how I ordered it.
I've had more than one person cut mouthpieces for sleeves and it has to be right on the money or the mouthpiece will rock, or move. Very irritating.
His work was perfect.
