I have a recording of a famous Russian trumpeter that I am sure was done on a Bb, and have heard and Youtube recording with a famous American trumpeter playing it on a C trumpet.

Thanks for posting these. I listened to Michael Sachs's performance first, I absolutely love his sound, and he did such a bombastic job (as he always seems to). Now going through Timofei Dokshizer's recording, OMG his tempi and technique is/are ridiculously fast and impressive, wow! |
