I came across a Holton Galaxy mouthpiece the other day. I dimly remember having bought it back in the early Eighties, but that's all I know. It has no numbers of any kind anywhere on it, so I imagine it's fairly low-end, but I'm curious. Is it equivalent to any modern mouthpieces? If so, which ones? Is it actually any good? |

Holton Galaxy was my High School horn in the 60s. It came with a Heim 4 mouthpiece. I still have that mouthpiece. |

I have a Holton Galaxy cornet mouthpiece. It came to me with a long forgotten horn purchase (I think). Mine is a little distinctive due to the insertion end appearing to be a 10 or 12 flat-sided geometric figure describing a circle. It is not my first choice for use in playing my Holton Galaxy cornet. |
