Ryan Beach is the new principal trumpet, Bob Wood still in his position, Marvin Perry now the Assistant Principal, if memory from the recent program is correct.

Derek, why don't you create a webpage that archives all of this information? It's a great idea, and a great resource, but having it here on TrumpetHerald in the forums like this is incredibly clunky at best.

I take it that Marvin Perry is retiring after 45 years with the ISO. That is a good long playing career. Did he play professionally before the ISO?

Thanks!

We were classmates as undergraduates.... I know before he went to Indy he was a member of the section in the Alabama Symphony (might have been Birmingham Symphony back then.)

Ryan Beach is now principal trumpet in Alabama Symphony

I wish that someone could pull all of this information off of TH and create a dedicated website to it (and subsequently update it). Some kind of Wiki even! Derek did such great research, but doesn't really seem to be around anymore!
