A while back my computer was hacked pretty badly. I changed a lot of my site passwords , including for trumpet herald. Now I am in the unfortunate situation of having to jump through a lot of annoying hoops, such as posting a bunch of things just to be able to create a post to sell some mouthpieces. I always had good luck selling on here, and really just want to get back to being able to use the site. Any suggestions. Someone said the admin might be able to reset my old password for me. Is that true?
Thank you.

That is too bad. But you're already up to four posts. Just reply to this and you're good to go.

Hello Ross,
Patience. It is unfortunate that you were put in such a predicament. The rules are there to enhance our community and to give credibility to you as a seller. Unfortunate that you lost your history. This would be a good time to re-establish yourself in this and other forums you are involved in, with some meaningful content. That would go much farther then the 2-3 posts you wrote , minutes of each other.

I suspect that many of our regular members are aware of the existing threads discussing this long existing requirement for sellers to be contributing members to the website.

These existing threads include a recent thread started by brad361 in the lounge.

Getting to 5 posts is very frustrating but I understand it as security is most important.

It sure must be a chore to write a semi-random sentence on 5-13 year old threads.....

Five. Whole. Posts.

Incredibly frustrating to you, perhaps, but at least tells everyone how you feel about it and lets them decide whether to purchase from you or not.

Filling the Marketplace with random bot-generated spamming for-sale posts was incredibly frustrating many years ago before the policy was first put in place.
