Guy emailed me after 12 hours and told me he is good hearted and well known. That he mailed the check and it was on its way.
I told him he wasn't reg on TH.
Told him he had sent multiple identical letters to members.
Told him he was reported. I asked him why doesn't he just buy from Reverb, since there there were at least 6 other ways to pay.
I told him to put a hold or stop on it as i have no desire to cash it. I told him i would forward it to to the police.
He just sent me back Ok then , Good luck. Not sure what that means but either way 'im not cashing it.

I don’t get it. This scam is old enough it can legally drink in all 50 states.
Why worry about anything the scammer can do in retaliation? Doing so would probably end up getting late enforcement’s attention, while even if the scam works the authorities are extremely unlikely to do anything other than tell the person scammed they were stupid. |

Guess i was just looking for a little re-assurance. Seeing how i gave this guy my address, it has kinda freaked me out a bit, if you cant tell.
Just never had this happen . Wanta sleep tonight

| Sleep well. These scammers are all about bank scams, not physical attacks. |
