Does anyone have the trumpet 1 part to Shostakovich 9 that I could “borrow?”

PLEASE?

If so, please email or message me.

Benjamin, would you excuse an off-topic post?

I have driven past the Waxahachie water tower many times, both as a student at UNT and while working in Dallas. Old home week.

But mainly, I just want to thank you for giving such a good background for your daughters. You seem to be a good Dad.

You can view the parts online, but if you poke around a bit you can find the JPG images for each page to save and print (minus the watermarks).

I would love to explore/print jpg versions without watermarks, but I can't seem to find them. I even poked around a bit just now - maybe I'm missing something? Is there a link or path you wouldn't mind sharing, Richard?

Try this link:

https://archives.nyphil.org/index.php/jp2/|MP|2|2307-111|MP_2307-111_001.jp2/portrait/3000

(You'll have to cut and paste, the link isn't showing up properly.)

Then just change the part of the URL that says "001.jp2" to 002, 003 and so on to get the rest of the pages. I'm not sure how it will behave if you just follow that link directly, though.

EVERYBODY needs to check these out!! The markings alone are a masterclass. Great hints on how to play, and how to approach working on and marking up a part. Plus it's just plain cool to see markings from Vacchiano, Ware, Glantz, etc.

For some reason, I can no longer connect to the NY phil archive, regardless of which web browser I try. I get an error:
Code:

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

Anyone else having this problem?
