Does anyone know where I could obtain the sheet music for the Intro. trumpet solo for the Eagles Hotel California?

Thanks in advance!

Not trying to be a jerk, but why don't you just transcribe it? I seriously doubt that this solo is available from a publisher.

Love the song. I have never heard this version before. I bet that was improvised and you will more than likely have to learn it by ear. That's what I would do.

I agree. Just notate it. It's a very simpe solo. It shouldn't take but a few minutes to get it on paper.

Ditto to those who recommend transcribing it.

I'm horrible with transcriptions, so I may do this one for practice...

You transcribing experts are so helpful, if it is so easy to transcribe then why don't you do it and send it to him instead of spending all of this time "NOT" being helpful? HornnOOb like you I find transcribing difficult, Unfortunately I don't have the score for that intro. a tool that may help you if you try to transcribe it is Finale Sondwriter. You can input the notes and it will even give you a play back as you write. Hope this helps

Some years back when the Eagles released their "Live In Melbourne" DVD I was captivated by the trumpet solo (Bill Armstrong, RIP) prior to Hotel California. After doing some research come to find out it was an actual duet. I found the sheet music to it and recorded it in my basement. I would have loved to have done it more freeform as he but since it was a duet I had to add a little rhythm. 🎺🎺

I'm less shocked by the fact that you're posting 4 years late than I am by the fact that you joined in 2007 and this is your FIRST post...
