really enjoyed that post charlie has a rare warmth in his playing. he focuses on melody in improv which a lot of newer jazz musician forget. |

What a fun concert! My goodness, her voice! Tremendous. I wish she would record a whole album of these fun arrangements!
And yeah, Charlie sounds fantastic. That is a monster band! Chuck Israels is a legend and Jason Haaheim's blog is seriously worth reading for all musicians.
