Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to compare these two... Looks like they have a lot in common ... |

yes have owned both
not that much in common
28B has ML bore same as 60b, but diferent bell, pipe and valve block.
The 28B valve block has the .484 first valve tubing, from the gustat and 2nd generation 2B. That setup is pretty cool, and feels nice and big.
The 60B feels smaller.
The 28b bell is thinner and bigger and lighter. SOunds nothing like 60b bell.
The 60B has a real good upper register. The 28e has nice upper register but the top of the staff is pretty sharp. nothing would fix it. I liked the 28 better than the 60. The 60 was not made nearly as well, and the valve fit was not as good.
The 28 has a lot of cool aspects. The 60b too, but it's mainly a lead horn _________________ Mouthpiece Maker
