And you’re correct; it’s very easy to develop bad habits that might take a LONG time to correct.
If you REALLY want to make progress, do whatever it takes to get a qualified teacher. Forums like this are great, but they’re not a substitute for a teacher.

m1tch, I feel for you. I really do. Take Kalijah's advice. Don't stress about what you can't do. Work on what you can do and be patient.
