It's been a really rough time for everyone but there is also lots of love out there right now so I've been trying to focus on that.

The U.S. IRS web form for entering direct deposit data for the COVID-19 economic impact payments is working if you need it:

https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments

I used it this a.m.

FYI.

Badly, badly affected, no work, no money, no trumpet oil, no materials, no hope.

I have made a local park my venue now and have done for the last ten days or so

Today I wandered in the park and played requests to applause

Then I played some more and was presented with a bouquet of flowers.

Then I played some more requests and met a cook of a major football team so I played one of the teams anthems and was rewarded with a couple of glasses of malt whisky and was treated as a celebrity.

I played some more and was told that I am famous on the internet as the trumpet player in that park. Not that I care.

Fame means nothing, joy however means everything

We are the bringers of joy and in this troubled time people need as much joy as we can bring them.
