Hi everybody!
I'm looking for the old 11 B-C4 Yamaha Trumpet Mouthpiece.
As far as I remember, it was as Yamaha Standart Mouthpiece from The 80's.
As far as I remember, it had a very Nice wider rim. Comparing to The new ones.
I appreciate any help findind this Mouthpiece!
Thanks in advance!

I think at that time Yamaha was producing mouthpieces that were similar to Schilkes - even the exterior blank. It's possible that they copied the Schilke 10B4 and simply renamed it to fit better in their series. I suspect the Yamaha 11 (no letters) is similar to the Schilke 9.)
If you cannot find a vintage Yamaha 11B4, you might give the Schilke 10B4 a try. Nice wide comfortable rim, nice sound from the slightly funnel shaped cup. |
