Can anyone recommend double trumpet concertos? Kid's gonna be spending some or all of the summer with another teen trumpeter, both already play challenging trumpet concertos, but they only play on C and Bb, not yet on Eb or piccolo. The only one I can find is the Vivaldi in C. They do have a piano accompanist in the house.
Any other recommendations for music for two trumpets that together they can sight read or prepare would be welcome. |

I have no concerto or other classical suggestions, but if the trumpet players want to add some jazz duet etudes to their playlist, I would highly recommend the Bugs Bower duet books, especially volume 1.

The International version of the Vivaldi is for 2 Bb trumpets. Obviously, it's not in the original key, but I played it in HS on Bb and it was fun.
Manfredini might be good too, not sure what it's written for.
